About Tale Skjølsvik

Tale Skjølsvik works as a professor in technology leadership at the Department of Computer Science at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University. She holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from BI Norwegian Business School and has experience as a management consultant from Bain & Company and Gemini Consulting. For more than 20 years, Tale has worked as a public speaker, lecturer and consulting academic within strategic management, innovation and technology leadership. Her research concentrates on strategy, technology, knowledge work and innovation. She has published papers in a number of leading international journals. Currently she is working on a strategy book which are to be published in 2026.

Strategy

As a board member and through numerous conversations with leaders and boards I am allowed to contribute in practice to strategic thinking and doing. In 2012 I completed my PhD in strategic management. I have been teaching strategy courses for half my life.

Currently, I am writing a strategy book that aim to provoke and integrate strategic thinking and doing. It will be launched approximately in 2025.
